Welcome to Kete Waimakariri. This is a web space to record and preserve the heritage and stories of the Waimakariri District. Kete Waimakariri can be used by individuals and community groups to store, link and share images, documents, videos, and more, and then group them together in 'baskets'.

Kete is the Maori word for basket, and this kete is supported by Waimakariri Libraries and the Aotearoa Peoples Network Kaharoa.
